Carboys and the Indian

Carboys and the Indian, by The Outwits, won the Christchurch final of the 48 Hours Furious Film Making Competition. The Outwits team also won Best Original Score and Best Cinematography.

The contemporary comic western then went on to the Grand National final televised on C4 on the 1st of July. Taking the Grand National Runner Up award makes The Outwits the first South Island team to win a finals placing in the five year history of the competition.

We randomly drew War or Western for our genre and here are the essential elements we had to include:
Character = Jerry Reid - a hypochondriac
Prop = a rope
Line of Dialogue = "What do you call that?"
